The Portsmouth Portuguese American Citizens Club is a non-profit organization formed in 1927 for the betterment of the Portuguese people and culture in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. We have a history of charitable donations and youth sports sponsorships.
Each Year, since 1928, we hold a feast to honor our patron saint, Saint Anthony of Padua. The culmination of this feast is an auction, which is held on the last day of the feast, which helps raise money to enable us to continue with help to our community. Fifty percent of the profits made from our feast go directly to St. Anthony's Church. The remaining helps defray costs and are used for other charities.
